Devon sat slumped on the bench, legs stretched out and head resting on the back of the bench so she was staring at the few clouds that sailed by. She was well and truly bored out of her gourd. Sure, she was here to be punished. But did it have to be so damn boring?

She lifted a hand to rub the scars that now decorated her face. The docs had said that there was no muscle damage and besides her eye it was just cosmetic. But she could swear it hurt. Devon figured it was like the phantom pain people who had their legs or arms cut off and still swore they felt the missing limb. She was going crazy at well. Great. Pretty soon she’d be spork her good eye out just to lessen the boredom.

Everyone already said she was out of her mind. What could a little more insanity hurt?

Amaya looked around at the benches for somewhere to sit. Everyone seemed to be outside today, the sun had - for once - decided to show its face.
She scanned the grounds, and saw a space on a bench beside a girl who looked a bit older than her. The girl had a black eyepatch on and a few pretty bad looking scars on her face.
She went over. "Mind if I sit here?"

Devon rolled her eyes over to look at the blonde girl who had spoken. She paused for a long moment, weighing the possibility of annoyance against the oppressive boredom she felt. “Go ahead.” She finally answered, decided even if she and the girl didn’t mesh, it would be a hell of a lot more interesting than sitting here by herself watching the clouds.

“Whatcha in for?” She asked bluntly. Name, how are you, how long you’ve been here, yeah they were questions most people would ask. Not Devon. She wanted to know so she asked. Plus the answer would shed a bit of light on what kind of person the girl was. Which mattered more than a name to Devon.

Amaya arched an eyebrow. "Assisting suicide. Well, they called it murder, but... well, whatever," she said, shrugging. "I guess it doesn't matter either way. Murder, assisted suicide, euthanasia, whatever you want to call it."
She eyed the girl she was sitting beside. She didn't look like someone you'd want to get on the wrong side of. "What about you?"

Devon smirked, the girl’s charge funny to her. She didn’t understand that law. People should have the right to off themselves, and the people who helped should get some kind of humanitarian award. Devon couldn’t really wrap her mind around killing someone she cared about even if they would be better off.

Her smile widened at her question. “Attempted murder. It would have been murder had some nosy f**k didn’t call the cops.” She boasted. Even with one eye and all the pain she had been in, she was still certain she would have taken the bastard. Arrogance, maybe. But it would be better not to mention that to Devon.

She twisted and pulled one leg up onto the bench so she was facing the girl. “Name? I’m Devon”

Amaya grinned at Devon's confidence.
She did wonder at her scars though. They looked as if they had been either almost fatally deep, or hadn't been sutured up properly... Either way, they were pretty deep, and Amaya wasn't sure that she wanted to know how Devon had gotten them.
"Amaya," she smiled, extending her hand.

Renasance walked outsiode and took a deep breath.She smiled warmly as she eyes the people in the yard.She walked towards a scarred girl and a very pretty blonde girl.Renasance forced a smile on her face,failing and it remained a scowl.She sat down on the grass near them.Intent on making friends,she opened up.
"Hello,I am Renasance.I was put in here for almost killing my teacher.I miscalculated and ended up with the nail file two inches short of her heart."Renasance said with a nasty smile on her face.She looked at her scarred arms and finally smiled.

Renasance watched the girls.
"You are both very pretty."She said softly,a look of danger flashing in her cold,blue eyes.
