Guitar (open) « Thread Started on Mar 13, 2007, 5:20pm »
Vindex walked into the music room it was empty, and that was how he liked it all classes where over so he wasn't really worried about alot of people coming in at once, walking over he picked up a guitar, he really missed his on ebut doubted the warden would let him have it, but he planned to try, but not yet...
Picking up the guitar he sat down with it and started playing one of his songs, reading words of a peice of paper he had pulled from his pocket, and making changes every now and then, Vindex sung in such a way, that it was sweet, passionat, but still a rough kind of voice, like gruff but at the same time sweet, he was so caught up in his work, in an almost trance, it looked like a herd of elephants could run past the barred windows and he wouldn't notice...

Guitar. Ally could easily say that that was the best part about going to her school before she was arrested. She had taken a guitar class at her old highschool for the three years she had completed there, and loved every minute of it. She had grown accustomed to reading sheet music, and got to the point where she could sight-read some of the 'level 4' difficulty pieces, or so her teacher called them. Essentially, other than partying and hanging out at shows with her friends, the most excitement she got in life was playing the guitar. But, of course, she hadn't just played guitar. Just about seven months before she was arrested, Ally started playing bass. It came naturally to her, which was a surprise. One of the worst parts about getting arrested was the fact that she lost both her guiar and bass. She had to wonder where the two instruments were now. If her foster parents had touched them, she'd be sure to sue after she got out of this hell hole.
A slight hint of a smile crept onto Ally's face as she pushed the door to the music room open. The sound of guitar chords and singing immediately filled her ears, convincing her lips to push into some form of a smile. Damn, she loved music. Ally first headed towards the acoustic guitars. She pulled a pick out of a bin on a shelf by the guitars, slipping it between the strings of the guitar. Then she headed in the direction of the singing boy. She sat down in a chair about seven feet away from him, running her fingers over the six strings before doing such. And then, she played. she started out with the Alice in Chains song, Rotten Apple, tuning the low E string down to a C#. She played the lead part, though drifted into power chords at the appropriate time. While she played, an obvious grin of some sort was plastered on her face. And that was the way it was supposed to be.

Vindex jumped and imnstantly stopped playing when he heard another guitar, looking up he saw a girl, "Don't f*cking do that", he said placing a hand over his heart, he had been in his world of music, and had actuyally jumped when he heard the new guitar...
Looking at the person whi had rudely interuoted his 'practice', he sighed, "Nice", he commented obviously going for the music and not the girl, his face blank and tone emotionless he reached out his hand to be shaken, "names Vindex, who are you?", he asked same emotionless tone...

Ally laughed slightly at the boy's reaction to her sudden playing. What, can I say, she found amusement in the fact that she had surprised the boy with her music. Apparently someone gets scared easily. After a moment, she put back on her plain face, any signs that she had laughed had left. In her typical, sarcastic tone, she spoke in response to his words.
"Someone a bit scared?"
Head was shaken sarcastically after she spoke. Ally slipped her pick in between the E, B, and G strings, sliding it up to the first fret to keep it there. Sighing lightly, she rested her left hand on the neck of the guitar, her right hand on the pick guard. Ally glanced over at the boy when he spoke again, she ignored the 'Nice' comment. What did you expect her to say? Oh, thank you, your playing's quite nice, too? no, that wouldn't be a typical thing of her to say, even if she knew the person. And a stranger? He deserved no such compliment from her. But Ally did respond to his introduction with giving her own name.
"I go by Ally.what're you in for?"
Of course, she used the typical question. After speaking, Ally took a glance at his extended hand. A hand shake? Physical contact was what she usually avoided with strangers, though it didn't seem like she had much of a choice this time. might as well keep people from labeling her a stubborn bitch and shake the guy's hand. And so she did.

Vindex glared for a second but whiped it back to his mask, he wasn't scared he was just snapped out of his music, snorting he looked at her face blank, "No, I happen to go into a different world if I'm fully into my music and what I'm doing", his tone was the same as his face blank and emotionless.
Slightly annoyed 'what are you in for' the question asked by everything, "Muredering, sealing, raping, torturing, whatever, business, the name means avenger so if ya think about it...", he trailed off face and tone still blank as he looked at his guitar and scribbled something down on his sheet, he should have been facing a death sentence except he was underage, and the only thing they could prove that he was the avenger was the tattoo on his kneck.
