Renasance walked down to the smuggler's fence.Her eyes gazed at the beautiful tree.It's inner branches had been severed from it.That way no one could escape.Her eyes were filled to the brim with tears.She hoped her cousin Natsuko would come here soon.She sat with her back against the fence.She saw things in the tree,drugs and such,but didn't bother them.The last thing she wanted was to scrambled her brain cells.She looked at the various kids walking around.She saw a group of skateboarders go by on their skateboards outside the fence.
She longed to be outside these fences,to run free.She felt like a caged animal.She was going to go crazy.Her and her cousin were both in for life.According to the new sentence the judge had given her.
Renasance watched everyone.She knew she had to be known for something.....anything.She was in for life.She might as well cause some trouble.

Natsuko walked up to smugglers fence, her dark eyes focused straight ahead of her. They locked onto a girl... her cousin. She held up her promise. Good. She took slow and steady steps, nothing disturbing her balance. She walked up to her cousin and slunk down to the ground. Today was a drag.. as usual

Her eyes searched for some sort of emotion in her cousin's eyes.Her own eyes seemed to look directly into someone's soul because of their icy blue color.She moved over and hugged her cousin.
"I missed you.I hope they assign you to my cell."Renasance smiled happily.She stood up and reached into the tree pulling out two bottles of sake.She handed one to Natsuko and opened the other one.She began to sip heavily from it.She looked at her cousin.She hoped to meet a boyfriend in here.She didn't care much though.As long as she had her cousin.

Natsuko laughed, sarcastically... and popped open the sake Thanks... and i doubt that... she grinned slightly Cause they can't put bars around me! she joked. She didn't even slightly regret her crime. They deserved it... Her black hair fluttered in the breeze as she took a drink of the sake. She didn't care what happened to her now.... as long as it didn't involve anything to do with talking to anyone but her cousin. She shuddered. Ever since the day she got in a fight with that boy, she hadn't talked to anyone but Renasance, and that was something she planned on sticking to

"Auntie and Uncle derserved what you did.They were abusive to both of us.I thought it was weird that they treated me exactly like you.I guess it is because Auntie's sister,my mother was her most hated enemy.I felt so bad about having to come live with Auntie and Uncle.I couldn't do anything about it.But you do relize...if we ever get out of here.We will be sent to foster care.Hopefully we can find someone who will love us like Auntie and Uncle didn't."Renasance said taking a sip of the sake.
Renasance looked around at everyone.She was so scared.She had never been around this many people before.She refered to Auntie as her mother.Her real mother had died when she and Natty were 2.That left Renasance to come live with Natty and her parents.Renasance was the only one Natty had ever felt comfortable around,and Renasance felt the same way about Natty.

Natusko grinned I doubt I'll ever get out of here... they said that a double homiside was actually, enough for death row if I wasn't still a "child". She laughed. No one had ever considered her one before... but she was lucky that the court did, though. She grinned and leaned against the fence, her legs far from it, though. The wind pulled her medium hair into her face. She took another sip, then straightened up against the fence, one leg bent into a triangle on it, one arm over her stomach. She then put her foot down, and took the last sip of the sake. Good stuff.... It had been a long time since she had one. She then remembered all the time Ren and her had spent together... They were always locked in Natsuko's room, hiding from her mom and dad. Since her parents had died in her early years, she accepted her cousin as her sister, rather than a cousin.

Renasance looked at the bottle,it was almost empty now and she was feeling giddy.Renasance smiled as she finished off the last sip of the sake.She reached into the tree and pulled out two cigarettes.She tossed one to Natty.
"Might as well."She said as she handed her a lighter.She lit her own cigarette with a spider web design lighter she had managed to smuggle in her bra.She looked up at the sky.
She took a long drag and made a smal heart.She never understood how she did that,but she always did.
Renasance puffed a few more times.She looked down at her arms.There were the word "Worthless" burned into her arm.Her Auntie had done that to her.She had taken a lighter and burned the word into Renasanc'e left arm.Renasance had never told anyone about the incident.And no one knew except for Natty.Now she was in a short-sleeve shirt and it showed just as perfect as it had been done yesterday.

Natsuko took it, and pulled out her own black, with red flames, lighter. She puffed a little ring... cool. She grinned Wow, Ren, that mark STILL isn't gone? Mom did that YEARS ago! she giggled, pointing to her arm. Her mom deserved every inch of the torture that she got... as did her dad. She hated them so much that it burned a hole through her black heart. One that can never be repaired. She took a long puff before putting it out.
For some reason, she wasn't in the mood right now, which confused even her. She sighed, and leaned againt the fence, her hand over her forehead, her eyes closed What's wrong with me... she wondered to herself. Around Ren, she could always express her feelings, but today... she just couldn't.

Renasance noticed Natty's reclusive nature.She stood up and hugged Natty.
"Don't feel bad,sissy."Renasance cooed.
Renasance began walking towards the juvie center.
"Let's go stirr up some trouble."Renasance laughed as she took her cigarette and put it out on her arm,leaving a bright red burn mark.
Renasance didn't even notice the pain.She had been a cutter for years and along with that she had been abused.She never felt much pain anymore.

Natsuko grinned Sounds like a plan..... what should we do first? I got nothing... she thought for a second... what COULD they do..... no ideas sprung to mind. She couldn't think of anything for once, even though wreaking havvok was her specialty.... She shrugged. Still nothing...

Natsuke raised an eyebrow hmmmmmm........ her cousin's idea was better than any Natsuko could have come up with. She looked up the the same hole and began to follow her cousin, wondering if disatster lie in their grim future
